ok so i know its been ages but i need to vent and the only thing i can vent to that wont fire back with its 2 cents is my lj! so here goes......
so last weekend my mom and i headed to ALBQ to get my wedding dress (yes jp got down on his knee and all that good stuffs on feb 21st) so anyways we go down there. we spent 20 min at davids bridal and i found my dress.
well i tried on 3 total but the 1st one was so horrific i couldnt handle taking a picture so i tried on the 2nd dress....yup i liked it but it was wayyyy 2 big and with the style of dress it would cost me atleast 200.00 to get it fixed. so i said let me try on one more. so i put on THE DRESS! instantly fell in love with it. its nothing flashy or 2 fancy its just simple which is what i wanted...im going to vegas for heavens sake! ok so picture taken, mom paid for the dress and we left. she was calling everyone telling them how beautiful the dress was and what not. so i got home and sent emails to everyone in nebraska.....and i posted my pics on myspace for those who are on my friends page. ( dont worry jp doesnt myspace so he wont see the pics) anyways so slowly i get emails back saying what they thought about the dress.........no one other then my mom likes the dress i actually got! ok i understand everyone has different tastes BUT didnt anyone ever teach you when to keep your mouth closed?!? it goes back to "if youd ont have something nice to say dont say anything at all" dont tell a woman who's mom just spent a pretty penny on a dress that you love and think you look great in that "oh well the other one is better" even if i dont like someone's wedding dress they picked out i still say oh i love it! but no my family has done nothing but speak their mind! saying how the one i got made me look like shit and blah blah blah! yea lets make mikala feel like shit just a bit more! granted in the pictures i didnt have a huge smile on my face in the dress i bought. it was because i was tired and my mom took the pic b4 i could smile. but yea they are all putting in their digs at me anyway they can! THIS IS WHY IM GLAD YOU ARE NOT COMING TO MY WEDDING! GRANTED YOU ARE FAMILY BUT THAT GIVES YOU NO RIGHT TO TALK SHIT ON ME OR MY DRESS!!!!!
i mean i understand people are going to leave me feedback on it but come on now learn to bite your lip!
ok now this would be the dress that i DID NOT GET but it seems everyone likes this one better....ok its a foot 2 long, it was 2 sizes 2 big and it made my boobs look bigger then they already are! ( just so you know the store we went to was a "cash and carry" store so i would have had to take that dress home with me they couldnt order it for me)
now this is the dress i did get. it looks really bad in the pic because it had been tried on by a gazillion different people but i was able to order one just like it so it wont look so wrinkled....also this dress fit like a glove! no alterations needed what so ever!
