(no subject)
i just thought i would check in with lj now that im here and settled.
i made it here with out a hitch. flight was great and we were early!
i am slowly getting my house done the way i want it. my living room is done (there are 2 other living rooms that im not going to touch for awhile) all i have to do is paint kenzies bed room, i did her bathroom monday. i have the paint i just need some extra time to do her room.
my job is going good. i have to hire someone by tomorrow though and no one seems to want to work for us even though they just turned in an application.
its so nice being able to pay all your bills and still have almost a thousand in the bank! i get paid every week which is nice. i have never been able to just go out shopping and get what ever i want and not have to worry about having money for the week or what ever. im no longer living pay check to paycheck. i can actually save money now. at first i felt bad for buying stuff for the house thinking oh my god am i going to have money for gas and stuff but now i dont have to worry. i go shopping once a week and get atleast 1 piece of furnature and some small things for the house. this week i bought 2 pieces of furnature but one was a computer chair andthe other is a shelf for my movies.
im at a loss as to what to do with my room. i really dont want to paint since my room is HUGE and has very high celings. my bathroom is all natural wood (un stained) and it has pink tile and a peachish color whirl pool bath tub. i also have unfinished log beams everywhere so what ever i do in here needs to look good with the wood. i dont have to buy curtians my room or makenzies because they have cute sudders on them.
well im off to do some moving around of my stuff in my room and do laundry! my walk in closet floor is coverd in clothes!!!
