i. love revolution - cnblue
Jonghun believed it was his fate to meet Jaejin, his heart fluttered every time his eyes set on the boy. As cheesy and as girly as he sounds, he believed it was fate that he had met Jaejin. This never happened to Jonghun, not the almighty Choi Jonghun with the body of a sex god. Love Revolution is what his best friend, Hongki, dubbed it as, where instead of a girl crushing on him, he is crushing on them, well specifically a boy. Hongki constantly poked and teased him for his stupid crush; he just couldn’t garner the courage to confess to the junior. But today would be different, today would be the day Choi Jonghun would confess to Lee Jaejin.
He paces back and forth and nods to himself. Slowly he approaches Jaejin and taps him gently on the shoulder. The other turns and cocks his head, “what?”
“Uh, I like you and I want you in my life,” he says. He could feel his face heating up from the cheesy line and Jaejin merely laughs at him and nods.
“Sure, why not?”
ii. even though I turn around and around - xia junsu
Jaejin misses Jonghun. He misses their usual teasing banters, those that ends in playful fights filled with joyous laughs, he misses the little play fights they had, he misses Jonghun. Even if he turns his head, there’s no Choi Jonghun clinging onto his back whining about the hardships of his workplace, there’s no Choi Jonghun tapping at his shoulder causing him to turn to see who had tapped his shoulder. He misses Choi Jonghun. Lee Jaejin misses Choi Jonghun and that’s all that goes through his mind. Every time he turns around, he isn’t there, he’s gone. Out of Jaejin’s life, not hovering from behind where Jaejin can see just over his shoulder.
iii. day of confession - 2AM
It was a usual halcyon week, calm and peaceful, no signs of Jonghun’s best friend, Hongki, pestering him about who knows what. But it wasn’t a calm and pleasant week for Jonghun, no it was the big day, Valentine’s Day. It was the special day where Jonghun would confess to his one and only love, Jaejin. That was if he weren’t so thick headed, he always ignored Jonghun’s attempts to woo the guy. It could be the fact that Jaejin’s a bit of a fastidious person, always hard to please, or maybe it’s because he’s actually a guy and not a girl. How does Jonghun know? It’s the first time he’s actually felt this way for the same gender (if you don’t count that small crush on Hongki).
“You suck at this,” Hongki whines.
“I know.”
Hongki punches Jonghun’s arm, “confess already.”
“I am,” Jonghun replies back simply. And he is, he’s written a letter filled with all the love he has felt for Jaejin. It will be sealed with a kiss and a heart and start off with “my angel,” maybe he should take off the “my angel” part or else he’ll sound like some creeper. He shrugs and places the letter in Jaejin’s desk and runs to his own desk.
“Do you think he’ll like it,” Jonghun asks.
“No.”
iv. rolling to you - mblaq
“Roll to me, Jaejin,” Jonghun says with a serious expression.
Jaejin stares at Jonghun with an unreadable expression, “is this some new metaphor for having sex?”
The dark-haired man blinks, “uh, no?”
A flip of a page and Jaejin’s attention returns to his magazine, “I’m assuming it is.”
“No seriously, just roll to me.”
“No thanks, too busy reading about the latest news about celebrities,” Jaejin says.
“Jaejin,” Jonghun whines.
“No.”
Jonghun pouts and covers his face into his pillow, “you suck.”
v. one of a kind - cnblue
Necromancy, definition: magic to bring back the dead. Not like bringing them back into zombies or whatever, no actually bring them back to life with an actual personality and everything. Jaejin was the only one who could do that and it was just something Jonghun couldn’t help but to be at awe about. He constantly praises Jaejin for it and his blandishments gets him nowhere but makes his relationship with the necromancer regress even more.
With an irritated sigh Jaejin glares at Jonghun, “don’t you have anything better to do?”
“Nope, you’re the only thing on my mind,” Jonghun sings out.
“You have gotten much more annoying over the past years,” Jaejin says, arms crossed.
“But you love me.”
“Sadly, I do.”
vi. cry - mblaq
Break ups are the perfect milieu for stories about heart break, hence “break ups,” and sad stories for those who tend to have lachrymose fits. Jaejin hums as he types up his manuscript, this would be the worst novel he has written yet. Cliché, cliché and cliché, cliché everywhere. Where is his wonderful muse when he needed it! The muse that powered him through his frustrations of a writer’s block, ideas would pop up into his mind, but he just didn’t know how to apply it. Curse him and his writing, curse it so much. He runs his hands through his messy hair and sighs in frustration.
“Writer’s block?” Jonghun asks, bringing Jaejin a mug of coffee, black just the way he likes it.
Jaejin nods, “yeah. My reader’s told me they bawled when they read my last novel and they’re anticipating another novel similar to it.”
“Don’t worry about it too much.”
“Just ugh-“
Jonghun leans down and gives Jaejin a quick peck on the lips, “you are basically a paradigm of what a stressed writer looks like.”
“When did you learn such big words,” Jaejin asks.
vii. to her - 2AM
Jino stares blankly at the wall, girls, they’re confusing beings. And taller than him, damn him and his short height, why can’t he be taller? With the large amount of milk he drinks he should at least be a tiny bit taller? But no he isn’t any bit taller, not a centimeter taller. It makes him sad, especially since the girl he had a crush on was a lot taller than him. Was it even possible for a girl to be that tall? Unless he had mistaken a boy to be a girl, no that couldn’t be possible. A sigh escapes his lips and he looks up at the sky. A face pops up in his line of vision and what a shock, it’s the girl he had a tiny crush on (he only saw the back of their head).
Though that crush was shattered into pieces when he finally realized, it’s a fucking boy.
“Hey,” the boy with a surprisingly deep voice greeted him.
“Uh, hi?”
“I heard you had a crush on me.”
“Um.”
“Sorry that I’m not a girl.”
Jino nervously laughs, “no that’s okay. Um, I’m Jino.”
The tall boy sticks his hand out, “Chanyeol, let’s be friends.”
Jino stares at the hand before taking it, “uh, sure, friends.”
“We’ll be best friends,” the tall boy - Chanyeol-says in his booming voice, “yeah.”
viii. raining - ftisland
The sky was dark, fitting for the mood that surrounded the five friends. As much as one wants to attempt a hegira from the room (a windowless one where you can still hear the rain hitting against the building) it was hard because one; the door was locked, from the outside and two; one person wouldn’t allow any of the five to leave. Ah yes, beautiful friendship where none can escape because of one scary figure by the name of Lee Hongki.
“This sucks,” one begins, “it’s raining.”
“I know,” a voice whines out, “I can’t see anything either.”
“This is all your fault, Jonghun,” another voice yells out, “everything is your fault!”
“Don’t blame me!” A voice-Jonghun-retorts back, “blame Hongki!”
It takes guts to blame the hot-headed boy and the only one who can do that of course is, Choi Jonghun. “Well if you weren’t so busy flirting with Jaejin here we wouldn’t be locked inside here!” Hongki yells back in response.
“This is going nowhere,” the voice from the beginning sighs.
“I know right,” agrees a voice, “hey, wanna make out, Minhwan?”
“No Seunghyun, not in the dark.”
big words hurt.
infinite | ot7
sunggyu is nagging at the members, no one cares.
a/n: this isnt a song fic but whatever
It was the usual speech that Sunggyu gave to the rest of the members of Infinite. It was the usual bombast speech that he gave them at least once a month, about how they were to please the fans and all the other blab about representing Infinite. Most of the members seemed disinterested (actually all of them were, even the usually excited Dongwoo was dampened by the long speech), but Sunggyu paid no heed to it and continued to speak. He did try, he tried, yes tried, to elicit some interest from the disinterested members, but it failed miserably.
A paroxysm of giggles suddenly bursts throughout the room and Sunggyu’s eyes narrows at the perpetrator that could’ve caused the fits of sudden giggles. And of course it was none other than Lee Sungyeol. “Lee Sungyeol, what is it that’s so funny to cause everyone to laugh?” Sunggyu asks in the most threatening voice he could conjure up which really wasn’t threatening.
“Just some video,” Sungyeol says with a shrug. To obviate the possible strings of nagging, Woohyun takes the phone out of Sungyeol’s hands and gives Sunggyu a cheeky smile.
“It’s nothing, Sunggyu, now go back to your little nagging spree,” he says.
Sunggyu nods, “but seriously you guys have no grasp on orthography, how can you not spell ‘The Chaser?’” That statement was mainly directed at Sungyeol, but he wasn’t really paying attention o Sunggyu at the moment to give a snarky reply.
“No big words, Gyu, they hurt,” Woohyun complains.
“It just means you guys suck at spelling.”
“Your saturnine attitude is bringing us all down, Gyu-hyung,” Sungyeol suddenly speaks up.
“I take back my statement about you being the only one I’d introduce to my younger sister if I had one.”
“Like I care, you’re just being your mendacious little self right now, like all idols alike are.”
“No seriously, big words,” Woohyun says.
“It means fake, Woohyun, fake.”
