So, nine years ago today, I had one of those life changing experiences.  During my first solo skydive, the winds changed in mid-jump, almost tripled in speed, and I had a partial parachute collapse.  I hit the ground, hard. Since I enjoyed dropping out of a plane so much last October, I signed up for the solo skydiving classes.  They start tomorrow.
