What kind of weekend is this?
Seems like someone is telling me to go back to bed all weekend long!
I was supposed to go down to Olympia today for a swim meet and to visit with some of the girls I've coached in the past. So I get down to about Joilet, on my way to Bloomington/Normal when Kendra (head coach for Olympia) calls me and says "We got hit by a tornado last night - There is no roof on the pool." So great, Olympia is now an outdoor pool. Then she told me "Yea, remember the softball fields south of the pool, they're not quite there anymore." Cool. . . Why couldn't I have been there last night! We just got rain here, boo. So needless to say, I'm not going to Olympia today.
Conference was OK. . . I thought the girls would have done much better - most of them did fine, but I just wonder what goes through the minds of some of them. What is making them tick. I was getting mad enough to wnat to jump in and swim their races, but I'm sure I woulda been hauled off to jail for that one. So we'll see how one of the state-bound turkeys does next week. I can't even watch her races I get so nervious.
I'm also just in la la land becuase of my fudged graduation date. I can't believe it's panning out the way it is. I guess I will be taking another class afterall and I just cannot take shortcuts in life. I just really hope that I still can take another class and get my graduation taken care of without reapplying to ISU or doing anything funny.
As usual, I have no clue what is going on and don't ask me.
