“Did I ever really know you?”
I thought I knew you
But I was mistaken
While you look the same
On the inside I don’t know
Who you have become
My heart broke when I
Heard the truth you spoke
To my face. You look the same
Behind my back you are a stranger
The memories of the past
Starting to fade away
With each step taken into the future
