ok so i better update
my time in London (6weeks ago) was fantastic
the event organisers put us up in the Hilton in Kensington, and we worked hard looking after a stall and doing some demos over the long weekend. the reason for going was to display the rob roy/ charles stuart swords for the Who Do You Think You Are history exhibition

i was disappointed that none of my friends in London made an effort to catch up with me, but Kelly (who was on her honeymoon, so fair enough) did come up to Edinburgh the next week. i had a great time catching up with an old friend and meeting her new husband for the first time.
the rest of London was good fun, as you can imagine, 4 friends away doing what we love then hitting the pubs a long day.
