Dean update
Ok folks thanks to your many candles, prayers good thoughts and wishes (not to mention the small pact I made with the devil) Dean is now out of hot water and on his way to a full recovery. Much thanks goes to my wife and her good thoughts passed along in the Unitarian church. Dean might be staying with us for a bit, but we will wait and see.
Well here it is in a nut shell:
I spent the night at the hospital w/him. He was knocked out most of the night due to the amounts of morphine they gave him. By morning they said they wanted to take some kind of swallow test to see if will be able to eat. They removed the catheter from his bladder and said he had enough common sense now not to wet the bed..LOL
on the lighter side when he did wake up and because of the large amounts of dope in his body he is just flashing nurses and kind of just out of it. here is our conversation.
Dean: They've got some good doctors on this boat, don't they?
Michael : what do you mean Dino?
Dean : the doctor on the "Love Boat", he's a good doctor right!
Micheal: sure Dean.
Dean: lets pay the tab and get the hell out of this place!
Michael: just a few more days Dino
Dean: Oh OK ,but call the captain I wanna get off and I don't want to sit at his table.
Michael: *just starts laughing*
Dean: What's so funny.. look at this!.... *pulls up his Pj's and flashes me*
Michael: knock it off Dino before mom sees you.
Dean: get me a soda Mike....*Dean passes out again*
Its funny stuff. So this afternoon they moved him out of ICU and into a room. He may be out in a few days.
