Hmm...Its 3 days later and i figured i should make an Otakon update...Otakon was fucking amazing...I had so much fun...We got there like 11 or so on Friday and entered the unbelievably long pre-reg line...it was horrendous but not half as horrendous as the regular registration line...That line was outside in the heat and went around the block...So, i'm waitin in line with a bunch of people and charity saw some of her friends and me and Ian started talking to them...That was when i met Rita, Jess and Jess...we finally made it through the line and decided we didnt wanna hang out with the rest of our group really and decided we'd hang out with Rita and Jess and that gang...We went down to meet the final member of their crew, Mary, down at the regular registration line...after that i don't really remember exact details but we went looking for the BR photoshoot and sat around in the lobby and went to the dealer's room...thats about all i remember about that time...then we went back to their room to drop off their stuff and then to CVS to pick up some bobby pins and then back to the room again real fast...then we lined up for stickering for the L'arc show...we managed to get there early and got a pretty good place in line...ohh and I almost forgot thats when i met up with Alex...I had been talking to that kid for so long but never actually got to see him until just then...well we waited in that line and got stickered then the girls went back to room to get changed for the rave that night and eat dinner...and me and Ian decided we should probably go unload our stuff from the car and such...so we make the 25 minute walk back to the hotel and unload our stuff and got ready and such and rested...then we decided that there was no way we were walking back so we grabbed a cab and made it back to the con about 9 and waited for the girls...we sat down and talked to emma and missy and the rest of the people we actually came with which was actually kind of fun...then we all went to the Rave and met up with girls...we danced for awhile which was a lot of fun but very, very tiring...at about 11 we stopped dancing and sat down for awhile...Rita and Ian decided to go play duck duck goose while me and jess sat down and just watched...my legs were dead enough...i did not need to be jumping up and down and running around...finally they got yelled at for running and it was just about time for the girls to get back to their hotel...so we walked them back and then headed back to the convention for...THE JAPANESE PORN PANEL...This was probably the funniest thing i've ever...they talked all about the differences in American and Japanese porn and the weird as shit types of japanese porn...like bukkake...if you really want to know more about this panel you are just going to have to ask me...after that it was about 130am and me and Ian decided it was probably time to head back to the hotel...so we grabbed a cab and headed back...upon returning i realized that i still didnt know where my room was...so i sat and talked to Ian, nyssa, vanessa, and all them in their room for awhile then finally found my room and talked about RO for a bit with Pat and Danny...then went to bed...Now time for Saturday...I wake up saturday morning and realize that Danny was missing...i went looking around for him but eventually go take a shower and start to get ready for the con...I step out of the shower and hes sitting on the bed and i'm like "where did you go?"...turns out he slept in the closet...he woke up early and couldnt get back to sleep because the sun was shining in...so he went to closet...didn't think about closing the blinds...well i finish getting ready and decide its time to head over to the con...i go get ian and we go over to the con...we walk over and were hangin out trying to find the girls...we go to the dealers room and i bought Battle Royale 2 and an Itachi keychain thats really cute...then we met up with Mary and hung out with her for a bit...looking for Rita and Jess...we eventually saw them and hung out with them for a little bit but they were in a rush to get back to the hotel because Jess had bought a gun...so me and ian were bored so we decided to go back to the hotel for a bit...went swimmin...'twas a good time...then went back to the con to get in line for L'ARC~EN~CIELLLLL...WOOOOOOOOO...So we get there and wander around for a bit because my friends are lame and didn't want to get straight in line so we wandered around...then we finally go get into line and its about a mile long...it was soooo long...or at least it looked really long...well we stood in line for a bit and then they were like...Hey were going to be lame and go back to the hotel...so everyone but me left...and went back to the room...and went swimming...i saw Eric a little bit up so i went and stood with him...the line started moving really fast after they left and we made it in in about 30-45 min...the wait was totally worth it...I have 2 words to describe the concert...FUCKING FANTASTIC...I had the best time ever...L'arc was soooo good... Hyde was sooo sexy and i almost got to touch him and omg it was sooooo good...the funniest thing though was hyde's accent...he was tryin to say "Did you guys eat crab tonight?" but it came out as "Did you guys eat crap tonight? I ate crap"...finally we realized he was trying to say crab and it was funny...They played Driver's high, which is my favourite song ever...and i was happy...the concert was beyond words...i had so much fun...and then afterwards we were all walkin through the streets of baltimore back to the convention center...and causing a ruckus...it was fun...but i started talking to these other cute girls, Laura and Lauren...they were so neat and all of my friends were nowhere to be found so i hung out with them...we met up with a couple of other girls they were friends with, Jenna and Steffie and Christina...then we went to wait in line for the Masquerade...and just talked and got to know each other which was nice...after the horrendous line we went and sat down in room for the masquerade and talked some more and laughed about the Chairs...ALL YOUR CHAIR ARE BELONG TO US...hehe sorry inside joke...but then we watched the masquerade and it was sooooo good...it was so funny and the last skit had everything anyone could ever need...David Bowie and nekobasu...then Lauren and that gang had to go get their car and go back to the hotel so we parted our ways and i went to go find Ian...Ian calls me to let me know that he found Rita and Jess and that i should come...so i do and we sat down there and hung out with them for a bit but not long because again they had to be back at the hotel by 12 which sucked...me and jess walked ahead and went back to the hotel...and just kind of chilled and talked for a bit while we waited for everyone else to return...finally Rita and the other jess show up...without Ian...I kind of just assumed she'd bring him back...I stuck around a little longer and talked to everyone for a bit and then Rita kicked me out...I walk back to the con and call Ian...to find out hes back at the hotel...so i figured there was nothing left to do there so i begin the long walk back to the hotel...it was a pretty scary experience...walking through the inner harbor at 1am...well i get back to the hotel and everyone is hanging out in Julie's room so i go to join them...we're sittin in there...they are being really loud and obnoxious...i'm just trying to chill...well theres a girl across the hall that can't seem to get into her room or somethin i wasnt paying much attention...so we invite her to come join us...She was really cool...she was like me...older and more chill not loud and obnoxious...her name ended up being Ren...me and her just sat on the bed and talked for awhile...shes a japanese major and thats like the coolest thing ever...so we just talked about that and next thing we knew it was 4am and she left and everyone left...I get back to my room to find Kim in my bed...so being the nice person i am grabbed my sleeping bag and took a place on the floor...now on to Sunday...I woke up sunday morning pretty early...showered and started packing up...i get everything packed and want to put it in the car so i can spend as much time as possible at the con but there is no one to let me put it in the car...it sucked...but i just left it in my room and headed off for the con...i got there about 9:45ish and saw Laura on the way in...so me and her and jenna and steffie and lauren hung out that morning...we went down to the dealers room so i could make one last run before leaving...mainly so i could pick up my con shirt...but i ended up getting a man purse and a pin as well...it was all good though...but it was cool getting to hang out with them some more...they are so much fun...were going to hang out again soon...well Julie calls at 11:20 or so and wants me to head back...so we can leave at noon...so i say my good byes and grab a cab back to the hotel because it was raining...got back grabbed my stuff and threw it in the van...then we had to wait for Charity...which took forever but she finally got back and we left...only to get stuck about 10 min later with a flat tire...which took an hour...and then to stop for another 30-45 min and all kinds of other things that delayed us...it ended up taking 5 and a half hours for a 2 and half hour drive...it was horrendous but i survived...and that is Otakon 2004...It was a blast and I cant wait till AnimeUSA and the other cons and especially Otakon 2005...
