Bored at work; Yeah i can get away with it
So im sitting here at work with minimal things to do, when i decided to update my live journal for the 3 people that read this. The band was going to record a demo today but our drummer couldnt do it cause of work. lame. so now im going to do my laundry instead. The apartment is coming along nicely, maybe i'll throw some photos on here...why the fuck not right?
Another way i wasted my day so far is that ive been thinking of songs ive had stuck in my head for the past 3 weeks. I came up with this idea when i was listening to the satellite radio at the shop. I have it tuned into the "BIG 80's" station. So without further adeu he's the list of songs stuck in my head
1) The Warrior - Patti Smith
- this song has been stuck in my head ever since i went to vegas in June. I recently forgot about it until i watched an extremely funny episode of the family guy.
2) Purple Rain - Prince
- Ok, its a kinda lame song, but the chorus is very catchy.
3) Pulling Mussels from a shell - Squeeze
- Very 80's new wave song, but tell me one thing? How this band actually made a cool song out of
pulling mussels from shell, i'll never know
4)Oh donna - Ritchie Valens
- How can you not like the movie La Bamba? How can you not like music from the 50's? side note, i
actually covered this song during practice the other day and everyone looked at me like i had AIDS
5)heaven- Bryan Adams
- You can see the 80's thing here going on. I dunno, this is kinda a mushy song but yet it still has
that tough canadian side to it, ahaha whatever that means
6) Get loose - The Salads
- Awesome song. Best canadian band today! Also helps that i watch Eurotrip every other day.

So yeah those are the songs stuck in my head for the past few weeks. Anyways, i'll probably update this thing all next week because im going to be massively bored. Though tommorow for work, i was gonna bring in my TV and hook up my PS2. That should make one interesting Friday!
