Does everything in life need a set of instructions??

The above article is about a series of accidents lately at our airport, Hartsfield Jackson, involving young childen's dainty little toes and feet getting magled by the escalators at the airport. Don't get me wrong, I love kids- I just don't love stupid parents. All of the kids injured were wearing crocs or flip flops. If I had a four year old, I truly believe that I would watch them on an escalator, especially if I knew I had them in footwear that wasn't hard.

What gets me even more are the parents who are blaming everyone but themselves. There was even another article in which a parent was suing the makers of Crocs for $3million. Crocs is now putting warning labels on all of their shoes warning parents of the dangers of soft
shoes coming into contact with sharp moving objects. That is irritating beyond belief to me. Let's put labels on everything that is obvious. And the lawsuit just seems like a an attempt at creating a windfall for the parents from an error in judgement on their part. I wish people would take responsibility for their shortcomings and mistakes.
