I just watched Wedding Crashers with my grandparents.

I feel so...I don't really know what the word is for this feeling. And the funny thing is, my grandmother loved it. I guess you just have to know my grandparents to get what I'm feeling. I wasn't a huge fan of the movie. I thought it had some really funny parts (like the Ike Turner joke in the end) but I don't know it was just kind of blah. Although, I love Rachel McAdams and the ending was sweet. So, 2 stars.

You know, I did complain about this vacation, but looking back on it, I'm sort of glad it happened. Yes, it WAS boring, but I learned a lot, and I feel like I grew as a person because of it. We were talking and I realized that my baby cousin isn't going to know my grandparent's like I know them. They're at the age where smaller children annoy them (they love her dearly, but I think you catch my drift) and they're just getting older in general. It's sad. She won't have the same memories I have with them. Like the time my grandpa and I went out on the boat and I caught my first fish, or all the times my grandmother would pick me up from school and we would do anything we could get our hands on. You know, I'm glad this vacation happened, because it's probably one of the last times in a long time that I will be able to spend an abundance of time with my grandparents. It's weird, we don't talk much in smaller groups, but we know the love is there. I guess that's just how we show our love, it's just understood. Like, my grandpa and I went to the gym, and after wards we went to get some fish to cook for dinner, and we didn't talk that much, but we just understood each other and saw the love. I bet this is boring you all, but it's just some thoughts I've had today. I also found some pretty serious stuff out, but it's not LJ material, it's sad, but this stuff just kind of happens. I love them with all my heart! Sorry for talking so much about that.

We had some great meals this week. Geeze they were GREAT! My grandpa is like the best cook around. Had some good laughs, and got some pretty good shopping done. I'm satisfied, but am ready to come home. Plus, the room I stay in seems to have a bug problem. (it's not the condo or anything, just the area) I'll get random visits from these spiders that creep the shit out of me, but I always end up victorious, for I have aquanet and flip flops!

This is weird, this actually seems like a legitimate journal entry for a REAL journal. That's pretty much a first for me! haha Well, I love you all, and hope everyone had a great week and or vacation/orientation! Oh, and Katie, I love you!

Love,
Michael
