just another thing
before i go to bed, i got some new songwriting shtuff done lately to report on:
Untitled song written on the 17th - this one has a really nice, laid back, really brazilian beat to it, which is kinda cool
I wrote two new songs today, one written between the time it takes for my computer to turn on and for it to hit the Scandisk screen, and i like that one a lot. I'm not even sure what it's called yet but i think it's one of those songs i'll be playing in a long while. The other one, i just randomly wrote by pressing "RECORD" on the computer and playing some stuff, it's a pretty sad one but it's got a really nice vocal on it (oh, the modesty) and stuff. Plus, Bruno came up with a cool riff and i wrote some chords aroudn and tomorrow i'm going to add vocals and lyrics...my first international colaboration, rock!
Anyway, it's pretty late (12:36) but i'm not really that tired coz i slept 5 hours this afternoon. i'll probably go to bed in a few minutes anyway, because i *do* need to sleep a little bit.
I'm working on getting a site up with all my songs and a few mp3s of them...i guess i'll post the address here when i'm done. All in all today's one of those days where i'm really excited about my own music, i hope that carries into tomorrow because as we speak i'm burning a cd full of my weird mp3 demo stuff that i hope to listen to on the bus tomorrow. I put some Manics, B&S, and other stuff on there too.
