So I just saw a midnight showing of Spider-Man 3 (absolutely loved it, by the way), the titular character being one of my favorite figures in ANY medium (since I was like 5). So, as many of you know, I spent the last few days watching the first two movies over...and over...and over.
So I'm driving home at 3:00 AM, pretty damn happy and "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" comes on the radio, approximately 2 minutes before I reach my driveway. Just enough time to pull in right when the song ends.
That song, of course, was played in Spider-Man 2 in one of the more memorable scenes (a montage, in fact), one that I reference a lot when discussing the films.
I couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear the entire time. It was one of those purely joyous moments that you find yourself in occasionally, and although it seems idiotic out of context, it feels pretty damn great to you.
