So, I'm back home in Leesburg. Basement's about to get finished, going to be very awesome. 7.1 Dolby surround sound, 60 in plasma Panasonic Elite, 3 automatic reclining chairs, bubble hockey, mini bar, sound proofing. Definately going to be the place to hang out this summer if I'm here, which is becoming very likely. I've applied to a few internships, but not a lot, but that's mostly because there aren't a lot out there at this time. I started too late and there just aren't enough out there for my skill level. Only got a 3.0 and am pretty much a sophomore in the program with nothing outside of my classes related to engineering. Oh well, I'll just find a retail job (ugh). Working for Starbucks would seem pretty cool, but I'll just get a job where I can find one. Gotta make that money.
This semester has gone by pretty good otherwise. Haven't had a bad grade yet, and in fact just got a 96 on my last Statistics test. If I get an A or B+ in that class, it would be great cause that's 4 credits right there. Aiming for that 3.5 this semester and I think I got a good chance to get there despite no Glee Club boosting my grade. Stupid limit on credit hours. Speaking of Glee Club, it's been pretty good this year, too. The Beethoven concert was awesome albeit taxing, and I even got to meet a gal at the after party and take her skating the next week. Going to be busy when we get back, though. Got a concert up in Bowling Green, which I've been told is a very shady college, along with peforming for the opening of the new softball field when we get back, and then the Spring Concert like two weeks after that. Also got a lot of work to do, like three homeworks, a lab, and two projects. Of course I decided not to take any of this work home with me cause I'm that awesome. I'm also deciding whether or not to stay at Miami an extra year. See, I just got the okay from my parents that if I want to stay another year and get the mechanical engineering degree, I could. I just don't know if it would really help me or if I want to stay in school that long. I'll need to talk to my advisor when I get back and see what he says. It would be nice to stay an extra year, but I don't know if I want to be in college for 6 years! That would be insane. Should have found Miami in the first place and maybe this all could have been avoided. Of course, wouldn't have gone to UMW and had that great experience. Guess it all works out.
