I'm a big fan of the Olympics.

Like really big.

I've been exploring all these avenues to make sure I can watch the Games this year but most require a cable subscription and let's face it, that's not happening this year. Somehow, though, we plugged the TV back into the wall and we get...TV! I thought we needed some kind of antenna thing but it turns out, we're receiving a signal. And for some reason, we're also getting some music stations, Discovery, Travel, and History.

I'm not complaining.

Still, there's really no way to watch EVERYTHING. Some friends told me that NBC is offering complete coverage through their partnership with NBC. The fine line is that in order for one to take advantage of that offer, one needs a valid cable account.

Poo.

I did download the BBC app for my phone and that supposedly will have coverage as well. If not, you can find me awake in the wee hours of the morning so I can watch the volleyball matches.

The things we do.

I'm also planning a little get together for the opening ceremonies. It will be British themed, of course. I expect everyone to embrace every stereotype at the viewing: everyone must speak in a cockney accent, refer to the bathroom as the loo, and eat haggis and fish and chips--no exceptions.

In other news, I'm looking for a job.

Sigh.
