Tokyo Zombie
Ivan and I went to check out Tokyo Zombie at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival. It was hillarious. It really almost like two movies in one since halfway through the focus really changes from a Shaun of the Dead type movie to a more Land of the Dead feeling. But it was all around wicked and the characters were so memorable. If anyone else gets a chance to see it I highly recommend it, unless of course you hate zombie movies AND japanesse movies, then maybe not so much, lol.
At first I really only wanted to check out Shinobi (based on the manga/anime Basilisk) but watching the trailers last night I wish I'd have gotten the full festival pass, all the movies looked really good. Tonight I'm going to bring Michelle to see Behind the Mask. The trailer was hillarious, it looks like it starts as a mockumentary of slasher killers and becomes a full out slasher film.
