Another thing I'm sick of are dumbass annoucers who don't tell you anything that you don't already know. I'm sick of hearing their opinions, here is my preview of game 3 of the ALCS. The game 3 starters are Bronson Arroyo vs. Kevin Brown. Arroyo has been the most solid pitcher for the SOX down the stretch, undefeated in September and October. He also had the most solid pitching performance of the ALDS, giving up only 1. In my opinion he should start another game, game 6 or 7 depending on whether Schilling can pitch another game. Kevin Brown has just recently returned from injury, and got pounded by the SOX in 2/3 of an inning in his return start. Since then he has been solid, giving the Yankees a big start in game 3 of the ALDS. I would give the SOX the edge here, because of how solid Arroyo has been recently plus the fact that the SOX are at home. If Arroyo can get a solid 7 innings, I think the offense can take it from there. After two slow starts, I wouldn't expect to see the same thing in game 3. Look for Johnny Damon to have a big game, he's had a tough series but shouldn't stay cold for too long. The crowd should only play a big part in the outcome of this game. If I were the Yankees I'd make sure Sturtze was ready in the bullpen in case Brown gets shelled.
