I'm tired...so tired...

Updating again fresh off of the second and final Manzer show. We played Pinkerton in its entirety at The Silver Dollar. It was cool to play The Silver Dollar for the first time, play one of my favourite albums, and to have a couple people I knew come out (Roberto, Joel and Doug). I made 5 dollars. I freaked to get the bass parts as accurate as possible within the 3 weeks we had to prep for the show. My ears are ringing, which is never a good sign. We had some random people come out from a bachelor party, getting into it. One dude was wearing a penis costume, which was pretty damn funny. We had calls for an encore too. Not a big turnout, not a big triumph...oh well.

Still getting acupuncture. I don't know if it's helping out a lot lately, though I've gotta help myself too.

Cinema's playing another show in July at Lee's. It will be a strange night.

I'm feeling a bit of the effects from chugging a bottle during Butterfly because of course I didn't play thing for that song. I think overall, my tolerance for alcohol has increased a bit since my early 20s, thankfully.

No more Weezer covers for me. I will be taking Pinkerton out of my cd player indefinitely.

Shit, I may get an iPod after all these years of griping about their existence and holding out.

Hopefully I get to Vancouver this summer and Niagara Falls. A break from smelly, crowded Toronto is in store.

Yeah, I've said enough for a month.

I hate whiners...

Loving Lost, excited to finally watch Heroes season 4, and immensely disappointed that US of Tara is getting cancelled. BOO!

Oh, and I quit Sparkling White a couple weeks ago. It was tough but necessary. I didn't have the time or the drive to continue playing with them. They'll benefit with a replacement bassist. It's a shame how it will probably affect my friendship with Simon though. We'd known each since late high school, when he noticed my Green Day shirt and eventually suggested I pick up the bass to join his band. We had a slight falling out for a year, and then rekindled our friendship and music for a bit. It had to be done...
