The king spoke to the jester: "his words are treacherous! take this blade imbued with the promise of my reign. His mouth will no longer poison the hearts of those who serve me silently."
With an air of camaraderie he said, "do this for me and you shall be set free; i will grant you your dignity."
As he placed the dagger in his servant's hands, the jester's fingers trembled with determination and his mouth opened.
"I have seen smiles spread across your lips for only my actions, if it were not for my trade, your face would be stone. Is your soul so corrupt you have become insatiable? Does humanity reach beyond the throne? Your tyranny is despicable, a kingdom yeilds nothing if you are alone. without the escape i bring you, your reign is a feeble daydream at best."
