I have definitely not updated in here in way too long... but I have to go to work soon, so this will be brief.
School has been alright. Definitely easier than I expected, and I now like all of my classes, to at least a good degree. I just need to work on not-falling-asleep-just-because-I-can-get-away-with-it-because-my-history-teacher-is-blind. Bad habit. Soon enough, by mid-summer I should have my associate's degree. Hooray! And, there are a bunch of seniors from West there that I really like. It makes the time in between classes way fun. Ahoy.
My dog has fleas. How appropos. I almost said "my dog has fellas"... the situation would be way cooler if he did indeed have good "fellas"; and was a member of a gang. I don't even care if he has a significant role in such a gang, but for him to be a gang member would be awesome, particularly if it warranted neighborhood benefits, like, per se, free playground trips. That would be fun. Alas, no. Just fleas. Not very beneficent or gang-related. :-/.
Carolyn came up twice so far, and I feel really bad for the first time, even though I enjoyed her company a ridiculous amount. When she comes on Wednesday/Thursday we'll have fun. And that's a promisssssse.
Go see Garden State, ya crazy kids. This movie is moving and amazing, either of which I find rare in a lot of things I've seen recently- but this movie had them both. While it felt amateurish at times, they're forgiveable moments- and Natalie Portman's character was way too thin in the beginning, but I think he built the scenario to have her evolve from that anyway. Sorry, whenever I think about this movie, I get excited and go off on it. So, see it so we can converse! P.S. The Garden State soundtrack is equally as awesome as the film itself.
I miss Pete and Jude and everyone a lot, but hey, I'll see them soon. It was awesome to hang out with Pete, Santos, Tessier, and Tessier's Petropaulos girlfriend and watch Girl Next Door- way superb. I got The Books, Animal Collective, and The Mars Volta's full-length all on vinyl, as well as Pulp Fiction. Worthy purchases indeed.
This wasn't very brief at all. I'm sorry I misguided you.
