i spent the better part of the last 2 days in the computer lab working on my restoration ecology project with my group. then, at around 3am last night, when i tried to open the file i was working on i noticed that all the work i had put in since 2pm that day was gone. i just hung my head in shock. worst feeling ever. the rest of my group just let me sulk. wasn't anything they could do i guess. but i know they were ready to tell me "well it's your fault. you gotta re-do it". at that point i was ready to just give up on the project and fail the course. it seems like a right retarded thing to do but after spending THAT much time on something and just losing it... it's a viable option. so after sitting there for what was honestly at least 20 mins just contemplating my non-existant options i made a last-ditch search thru the computer for my file and lo and behold i found the fucker. needless to say it was easily the best moment of my life. but it was very close to being the worst.
