Ugh - man am I beat!
It's been a rough few days, although for no particularly good reason. I just need more sleep, I think! Staying awake until 1AM when you have to get up at 5 is not good.
Anyway, the only thing going is bowling. I've more or less come to the realization that Natalie is not quite like the other kids. Now I need to figure out how to hanlde her. Most kids respond to humor and patience. I think humor is out for her since with Aspergers, it's pretty well lost on her.
Coming up is our 27th anniversary - the whole clan is going to Niagara Falls for an overnighter. While it's not quite my first choice of things to do I suppose it will make Linda happy, so it's worth doing. I suppose I'll get her flowers and a dinner out, but I would have preferred the old caveman days when a hunk of dead meat would do fine.
I should have been a monk or something. :)
Gonna miss the kids this weekend - I hate missing a day so close to the beginning of the season. But what can you do? I also don't really want to drive that far. Seems like I've done nothing but drive this year. I'm starting to dread getting into that car.
I just told Jen that I'm not heading to Columbus for the pen show after all. I didn't really give her a reason, but the non-desire to drive is pretty much it. I'd love to spend a day with her, but not if it means 6 hours in the car. Maybe I can just drive up to Pennsylvania and visit with her, since that's only an hour each way.
