I had a turtle once.. He was named Sammy. He died after a few weeks. The pet store told us he would eat goldfish if we put them in the tank. He did not... he died. Poor Sammy. I remember when our dog Lilly died my mom told me that Lilly went up to animal heaven and I asked her "With Sammy?" and she didn't know what I was talking about. "My turtle!" I started bawling! My mom (ETA: originally I wrote ' my woman' which is just weird) then tried to reassure me that "Yes, Sammy would be there to" and she was sorry she had forgotten about him.
