This new Bjork album is rocking my socks. So far, anyway.
I turned 27 on Saturday, for those of you who didn't know, and it was a truly spectacular evening, thanks in no small part to Michael and Callum. You should see their moves...
1. What was your favourite subject at school?:
French and English, the ones I was good at basically. Own it, bitches!
2. Who is the most famous person that you have ever met?:
Take your pick from Geri Halliwell, Prince Andrew and the soon-to-be-Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Though I did speak to Nicola 'Ginger Aloud' Roberts on the phone, which may beat all of the above.
3. What do you have in your bag?: Some obscenely heavy books I'm taking back to the library. I fucking hate that dump.
4. Who did you get your LJ invite code from?: Say what now? Are you speaking, ow you say, ze English?
5. What was the name of your first teacher?: Mrs McLean. I still see her around Cambuslang, she must be knocking on 80 by now...
6. What was the first single you ever bought?: Elastica - Waking Up.
7. Can you dance?: In the sense that everyone can dance, yes.
8. Have you ever been in a band?: Not yet, but when Jamie gets back from Finland there is a tentative plan for world domination via forming the most awesomest band in the world...ever...volume one. I'll be on vocals and maracas.
9. Who is the noisiest person you know?: That could be many people - I don't seem to attract shrinking violets.
10. Who was the last person you defriended?: On here, no-one. In real life, I'm more into phasing people out. Not that I've had cause to do so recently.
11. What is your favourite word today?: Barbecue, because I've got two this week.
12. Who was the first person you ever friended?: Again I assume we're talking about Livejournal - it must have been Michael or Steve I think.
13. What were you wearing yesterday?: A hilariously busy charcoal-grey t-shirt from H&M with bizarre patterns all over it.
14. What is your favourite perfume?: Not really into wearing perfume - best aftershave is Dolce & Gabbana. (And a bag made of iguana. And a blazer, and a chocolate tie. Get it? Blaze, chocolate, tie..)
15. What is your favourite NIN song?: Don't take the piss. That's my job, and I'm better at it than you.
16. Have you any allergies?: Various types of nut (not hazelnuts), cats, Razorlight.
17. What is your favourite band?: Do Aqualung count as a band? If not, at the moment it's CSS.
18. If you could go back in time - which period would you go back to?: Probably Jane Austen times - I can say 'this is most vexing!' with the best of them...
19. How do you get on with your ex?: I don't have any proper exes.
20. Describe yourself in five words: Evasive.
21. What is your favourite pub?: I like the Europa because it's cheap, charmless and cheery. The Butterfly and the Pig also has a certain je ne sais quoi.
22. Who did you last kiss?: I have no idea.
23. Describe the person you got this questionnaire from in five words: A homeschooled jungle freak who's a less hot version of me. OK, that's 11 words.
24. What is your favourite poem?:
I like that one about losing things that Cameron Diaz reads to the old bloke in In Her Shoes. No idea who wrote it - anyone?
25. What was the last thing you said on Instant Messenger?: Possibly 'faaaack off, you slaaaaaaahhhg'.
26. Quote a film: "Well, as my mother says at Sunday dinner - come and get it!"
27. What are you really excited about right now?: Barbecues, summer and Beyonce. To the left, to the left...
28. Write a line of bad goth poetry: Not my area of expertise, sadly.
29. Bill Bailey or Dylan Moran?: Dylan Moran, but it's a tough call. Black Books is fucking brilliant - I got the entire boxset for my birthday! SCORE!
30. What was your worst ever job?: How long have you got? I'd say the Morgan Stanley canteen probably takes some beating.
31. What is your favourite tube station?: Kelvinhall, because it's next to the Millennium Platter. WE LOVE THE SPLATTER! (We do not, however, love the hostile staff).
32. Name your favourite Sisters Of Mercy song: Jesus H, who were these questions designed for?
33. What was the last thing you bought at Lush?: A 'Secret Santa' pack for one of the girls in class, who I got in - you guessed it - Secret Santa.
34. What is your most embarrassing nickname?: I don't really have any. DON'T get any ideas.
35. What is your favourite smell?: Tar, petrol and freshly baked muffins. Not all at once.
36. What is your favourite song?: At the moment, Take Control by Amerie, Goldfish by Siobhan Donaghy and Alcohol by CSS top the list.
37. What do you order at Wagamama?: Can't remember, but it's fucking lovely. I'd remember if you showed me the menu...
38. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?: Shooter - about three weeks ago which is a ridiculously long time by my standards. It's the most hilariously cliched film in a long while.
39. Do you dye your hair?: No - the blonde phase came to an end about four years ago.
40. Have you ever been proposed to?: Only in the indecent sense.
42. Write something in Latin: In vino veritas. And it's so true, if you know what it means..
43. What is your favourite drink?: It's all about Morgan's and coke at the moment.
44. Who is the funniest person on your friends list?: None, they're all rubbish.
45. What country do you come from?: Scotchland. But I don't want independence.
46. Who was the last LJ user that you met for the first time?: I guess it was
andthatisthat at the Popjustice 20 quid prize extravaganza/knees-up last September. He didn't disappoint, especially when we were showing off our mad vocal 'skillz'.
47. What did you want to be when you grew up?: I never intended to do any such thing, and I still don't.
48. Open the nearest book and write the first line that catches your eye: I've only got an Employment Law textbook with me and I'm not inflicting that on anyone else.
49. What track is playing on Winamp right now: Bjork - My Juvenile. Track 10 on the album, and I was on track 3 when I started this - that's procrastination.
50. Describe your default user icon: She be....Fergie! From the cool...BEPs! Having a....pee-pee! In her....jean-jeans! (to the tune of Hey Mama). I should do this for a living, yes?
