Rock On Old Mieneke Guy!
Well, today I went to have my muffler put back on (at my own expense), and wound up going to the Mieneke shop in center point. I was the only customer there so it only took about half an hour. As great as that was, it was apparent that I would need a new muffler since the old one actually broke off instead of fell off. (No, I didn't get jipped. I could plainly see what the guy meant, a large part of the back panel had broken off due to wear and tear, and there was no place left to re-connect it)
Anywho, it wound up costing $140. Due to the price already being above $100 I asked if they had any performance mufflers for sell. They did, but they were all over $300... not happening. However, that tipped the dude off to the fact that I kinda like after-market parts, so, he secretly slipped on a free Pilot Motorsports muffler tip. I did notice and thanked him thoroughly. For that,I say, if you need muffler work, I definitely suggest Mieneke in Center Point. That old guy rocked! I got to watch the whole operation. It was fun, except I learned that you should avoid the sparks emitted by welding.
Anywho, I really wish that Alabama didn't have that stupid sound emissions law that says you have to have a muffler. It sounded really cool without one.
And thus I say goodbye to 2/3 of my fist paycheck.
That's life. I had better get used to it.
(Also... I LOVE YOU COURTNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really love that girl more than should be deemed possible by reality.)
