sun in the sky, rain in my head

What a fucking day it has been.

I wake up feeling like shit, like really tired despite sleeping 8 hours and stuffed up to all hell. I've been having an annoying pain in my right elbow of late and it kind of tweaks me every few hours to remind me it exists.

So I get ready and go off to work in asnot filled haze and oh joy of joys my headphones are fucking busted (Again!). Same problem as before, the left side just decides to go out and come on and off for seconds and half-seconds at a time. Awesome, another $20 I have to waste this week.

So I was mad. Cause being tired I get mad easy. Like Dan when he is ... um .. awake. Then as I pull into Burnaby on the train of the skies I realize i forgot to pack my lunch. Oh joy. So I scramble to Zellers and buy some scooby-doo pasta and a pack of Ramen for like a buck and a half or so. Still a waste of money and time and energy (of which I have none).

Things could only get better .. or not. I'm dressing for work in my office and I sneeze really hard and somehow the top button of my blazer (which to be honest was only 1/2 a button) flies off. Awesome thing is my other 2 shirts are at the dry cleaners until thursday. So I have to use my clip on tie to keep it all in place. Which is of course annoyingly difficult and falls every few hours.

Even through all this and all the sneezing and dying I worked through it and will likely let it all slide away later this week. I'm too sick to be angry.

Plus I just bought some cool DVDs yesterday:

1. Little Miss Sunshine - We rented it on the weekend and I fell in love with the movie. It is such a well written movie with such an amazing cast. If you haven't seen or heard of it then go give it a view. Fucking fabulous. I payed full price for it and I'm a fucking cheap guy.

2. Equilibrium - Another great movie by Christian Bale and one I have been looking to get for a long time. When I saw it for 2/$30 I had to get it, I HAD to. Slick movie with great atmosphere.

3. A History of Violence - The other half of the 2/$30. I haven't actually seen it but I like the director and have heard some cool things. Seems like my kind of movie.
