Premiere Wiikend

Not a huge lot to talk about but I do have two big things.

First. Friday was the release of the new 007 film Casino Royale. We went to see the last showing on friday. Luckily Dustin bought tickets right after work cause it was a busy theatre. We pretty much all sat in a different area. The movie was great. I've always been a Bond fan and this movie really impressed me. One of the best they have made. It had everything a good Bond movie needs and more. Can't wait for the next one now. Daniel Craig proved all his doubters wrong.

Second and most cool. Sunday the 19th was the worlswide launch on the Nintendo Wii system. We lined up in front of the Wallmart on 88th ave in Surrey starting about 0600. They have something like 33 systems and when they handed out the tickets Dustin and I were #'s 26 + 27. I dropped my $300 (after tax) and got me my new toy. I only have the Wii Sports game as of right now but I will purchase an actual game once reviews start coming in. Both Dustin and Stephan bought the new Zelda (though only Dustin has a Wii as of this writing). Madden looks fun but I still have a few gamecube games to beat before I really need to make a big purchase.

We (or Wii) played Wii Sports (which has Baseball, Bowling, Boxing, Tennis, Golf, and Fitness training) for a good portion of Sunday. Lots of bowling and tennis as they are my personal favourites. Thanks to my flare while playing I have a good bit of tightness in my shoulder today.

Not us; Wii,
Michael Z
