Italy and Valentines
I can't wait to leave on Thursday. I'm going on a ten day Italian extravaganza trip that includes: The Olympics, the Venetian Carnival, Milan, and visiting the host family in Sardinia. It feels almost surreal to be heading back since I haven't seen my host family in almost three years, but I can still picture the town, its bars with old 1980s video games, endless sheep grazing on pastoral green hills, and the gnochetti and pasta carbonara... mmmm!! It's been too long Italy, much too long indeed.
For the first time in my life I finally have a date on Valentine's Day. The whole relationship thing is new and it can be a strange thing sometimes but I'm happy and he's a great guy. :)
In other news I decided to withdraw from my Voice class since I just wasn't happy. The professor was a little dumbfounded when I told him but it's for the best. Now I have a lot more time on my hands so I can devote more energy to transfering and co-op paperwork and of course watching more movies, playing more computer games, and reading, hah.
