The Monster Within

I'm about to write a paper on "L'amore Molesto" for my Italian class. The book, which was later made into a film, talks about a girl who's mother dies and she goes on a quest to discover who her mother was. In doing so the girl discovers herself and finds out that she has been sexually molested and has repressed it. The ending of the movie is one of hope. After discovering her past she is now free to pursue other things in her life. This week has been an exploration for me, into parts of myself that I would rather forget about. Parts of my life that I want to forget completely. Recently, I've been searching and questioning things that I had forgotten about. So right now I'm questioning the inner person inside of me that has been repressed and forgot about, it's all very Freudian to tell you the truth, in fact I feel like I'm playing both the psychologist and the patient. I've been delving into my inner thoughts, desires, and emotions and trying to dissect them to find out what my life is really about.
On a funnier note, things have been going well otherwise. I started my comedy classes today which are pretty kick ass. My weekends have been filled with parties and drinking and forgetting, nothing too exciting there. I'm looking forward to shooting my film either this week or next week depending on the schedule of my actors. My interview with ABC Family is still in the process - I have to send my resume to them, but since I have never really done much production outside of class work I'm not really sure what I should say. Life's just been moving fast, between the homework, the parties, the projects, and everything else, I can do nothing else but to just jump in the river and enjoy the ride. Jeez, I sound really depressed writing this - I've been really contemplative lately and I guess it shows in my writing. Alright off to finish questo saggio per italiano. Until the next time.
