Defiance - Friday, September 16th, 21+ $5, Club Caution 516
Front Street, SC - An Ongoing Battle Between Art and Evil

As yet another third Friday looms near, the time to return to the
halls of Defiance is upon us. Our mission this month is a
darkwave/gothic/deathrock/industrial assault against all forms of
musical tyranny.

This month we welcome back all of our people from Burningman, we
play host to a new music vendor, COP International ( www.CopInt.com
), and we will be continuing our promise of providing the best in
dark[new]wave/gothic classics, along with the latest in
noise/industrial dance/psytrance. If you're getting a paycheck on
Friday, you better bring it because our vendor is going to have a lot
of classic industrial'goth material and many new releases.

For those of you who have been begging for more pictures, we have
two, new galleries at www.ClubDefiance.com up and ready.

The Black Cat Lounge lineup is Rick A. Mortis/Fact.50, Meester, and
Neshamah. The format this month is a combination of all things from
the tomb, mixed with a healthy dose of murder ballads and songs that
will have your grandmother's corpse dancing the tango.

The back room features Narce, Ðante, Rick A. Mortis/Fact.50,
Tristan von Wasserspeier, plus open DJ tryouts starting early, as
usual. Come early for structured noise and industrial-dance with a
solid edge. Come later for enough goth'dustrial classics and gothic
dance that will have you reliving those long-lost, Parisian summers
you spent with Rozz Williams, Claus Larsen, and Roland Orzabal. Come
really late for a necessary mixture of new and classic
industrial-dance, psytrance, and EBM.

As always, email staff at ClubDefiance dot com for any requests for
music - even unreleased material. Band/DJ demos are being
continuously accepted. Open DJ tryouts are open and start at 8:00pm,
but it is nice when you let us know ahead of time. Visit us at our
web page and at ClubDefiance.tribe.net for info and updates.

Finally, we are taking a poll as to what bands/movies you'd like to
see up on the bar room big screen. We have a lot of rare footage of
bands and a lot of cult movies - send us your thoughts!

See you on Friday!
Your Defiance Staff,

--Ðante, Rick A. Mortis, Narce, Meester, Mike Creep, Neshamah, Miss
Hell, Val, Void, and the usual suspects.
