I value freedom above all else. I value the freedom I have to put on a furry animal costume in my house nd dance around like an idiot. I also value the freedom that lets me say what I feel like, and even have sex with my boy friend.
I also value YOUR freedoms. I value that you can teach your kids that god really DID make the world in 6 days and rested on the last one. I value your right to cling to that idea. but the second you try and FORCE me to embrace that just as you do. FUCK YOU. I'm not FORCING you to be gay, just forcing you to ALLOW others to have gay marriage.
I would happily pick up a gun and shoot people who would attack the neighbors around me, even though they mostly voted yes on 8. I would relish it in fact, helping the people round me, using our common love of freedom as a reason to love them, even if I don't agree with them.
