i have developed a new theory which i will go by.........that if you have a bad time, it is your fault. it's so true, it's all waht you make of it. i was kind of bitter comming into last night, well because we couldnt find a party and we were goignt o spend our new years in cheesecake factory, but it turned out to be one of the best (if not the best) new years yet. so there, let that be a lesson to you.

i dont feel sorry for myself. but i reject your hypothesis.

what if...

you break your arm and your bf/gf dumps you and all of your friends decide to hate you?

it would be pretty darn hard to find a good time.

what if you get so drunk that you get alcohol poisoning?

see i think a bad time has more to do with the general atmosphere of everything going on.

well you are part of the "general atmosphere." so what, no matter how horibblw the shit around you is, you can still make the best of it, and still find somethign pleasant to do. well sure, there are some things that are really big and bad, but you are still the main factor, and you can change things to go any way you want. the mood you are in is all up to you. i dunno, maybe you are jsut rejecting yoru hypothesis because you are just content with having a bad time, and think that you cannot change it, well buddy boy, i am not content with bad times and i like having the sense on control. also, this theory gives you a better perspective on things, and makes it less likely for you to blame others for things (very good cuase blaming others gets you nowhere). well, i am beggining to ramble on, and i think i posted this a few tiems, so i will go earase the extras.

i said, i didnt have a bad time, it just could have been better. theres always room for improvement, and no ones perfect so therefore no one can have a perfectly wonderful day. you cant even begin to say that one has the control to make his or her day completely perfect.

no such thing as perfection

exactly, so while you can make something better, you cant make soething perfect, the very idea of dialectics. so you must then rely on other factors to further yourself.
