hey friends:

i'm planning a short trip to tahoe next month and, since i've never been there, i'm clueless as to where to stay/what to do (aside from gambling). any suggestions/warnings? my first priority is to find us a place to stay, and we'd like something unique and/or classy and not holiday-inn style. anybody?

unique and classy might be renting a cabin rather than staying in a hotel. the south side is all casino hotels and crap, while the north side has cabins and stuff.

i agree whole heartedly. set yourself up in truckee or north tahoe and enjoy the atmosphere and quiet peaceful atmosphere, then you can come and go as you please and be able to leave it all behind!

I'm too lazy to you know, call you up. It would involve leaving my chair and finding my phone. :-D
