I am confused Mikey "making his harder for all the judges" , I thought this event was to showcase the bands in colorado not to be judged, Or do you mean judged by the people attending this event ?

i mean judged as into being able to perform. we only have one stage this year, a 9 hour window for 2 fashion shows, and 2 performance art pieces plus 20+ band submissions. the only way it could fit was to vote on entries. otherwise, we'd have 21 minutes for each band to setup, play and get off stage. :)

so everyone involved with the festival but me, voted on the bands they wanted to see at the festival.

i wish we didn't have to vote, but we have to. but i try to make sure it's not just the same bands every time by roping off slots for new bands only.

Yeah it makes sense with the time stipulation , it cool you got more new bands in thier. Their is never an easy way around it though.
