Of Angels and Angles
Hey kids!
I've had an interesting weekend, full of adventure and awesome. Lemme tell you a bit about it and then you can go back to wondering if I am crazy or not.
I recieved a bonus on this last pay period. A mighty bonus. One full of beans and vigor. So I decided to use this for the greater good, IE getting myself a new TV. But not just any TV, nono! I decided to go the full gammut and get a brand new projector and screen to fufill my dreams of having a true home theater. I call my friend over so I can get his opinion on the things. He is a bit more hardware savy than I.
We find the projector at a BestBuy in Sandy (about 20 miles south) and spend the majority of Saturday trying to find a screen. It needed to be about 100" to suit and that was killing us. We finally end up finding one in Orem (33 miles south). We then proceed to drill a pair of holes into my celing (roof is cement) for 45 minutes. It should not take that long to drill holes! But we do get it up. I have to say, its damn beautiful. Since I have it placed over the only window in the room, there is no glare on the screen. I've got my kickass speakers sitting right below it, producing foine sound and doing what speakers usually do. I've all my systems hooked up to it so now I can play my 360 in HD goodness. Iffn I feel like it, I can hook my computer up to the projector and have a MIGHTY MONITOR. Its goooooooood.
