i'm on the phone to bt broadband complaints RIGHT NOW.  well, i'm on hold.  which means my complaint is gonna be even greater than it had been before.  is it me or is it just simple good business practice to have a decent complaints procedure?

and now i've been given another number to someone very unhelpful

who fobbed me off onto ANOTHER line, which turns out to be the one i'd been on hold on anyway.  what a fucking crock

now, some could say "mike, if you're writing this, then you're online.  what's the big fucking deal?".  well that's not the whole story.  even this morning i've had a fucking ordeal in getting on the intraspaz and i really don't know how and why i'm connected now as opposed to earlier.  it's fucking appalling

now i'm finally speaking to a very nice man, who's being very understanding and sending us a super-duper modem free of charge, even though our warranty is up by a long shot and maybe, just maybe, we might get somewhere and i can now go have lunch.
