I AM CHAMPION CHRISTMAS!

Dec 18, 2011 19:11

OK, I think I've got all my Christmas Shopping done. I've got a bag or box for everything, and I've got tissue paper for packing. All I gotta do is put it all together, drop off half of it at my parents' house Wednesday, and leave the rest of it here for when they come over. As long as none of those present-eating bears wanders into my apartment, I think I have things under control. If you're a present-eating bear and you're reading this, I will freaking cut you. I am not fooling around.

I figured I'd order WWE TLC on PPV (it rhymes!) while I get the apartment cleaned up. I'm not sure about the card, but it sounds pretty solid on paper. Last minute predictions:

World Heavyweight Championship: Mark Henry(c) vs. Big Show in Chairs Match. Mark Henry destroyed Big Show months ago by putting Show's leg in a chair and jumping on it. Big Show came back and did something similar as revenge. So now they're gonna fight again and this time chairs are legal, so this is basically a "First Guy to Cripple Someone with a Chair Wins Match" God, I love Christmas.

Anyway, I'm giving it to Henry, since he's totally awesome.

Triple H vs. Kevin Nash in a Sledgehammer on a Pole Ladder Match: I'm giving it to Triple H, since Kevin Nash often has trouble walking in regular matches where he doesn't have to climb things. Hopefully the Undertaker shows up and murders Nash because he wants another shot at Triple H at WrestleMania. But I won't hold my breath.

U.S. Championship: Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Zach Ryder. I'm leaning towards Dolph, because Zach's still pretty lucky to even appear in PPV title matches. Also, I kind of dig the rivalry, and it'd suck if it ended tonight.

Randy Orton vs. Wade Barret in a Tables Match: I don't care.

Intercontinental Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Booker T: I don't even understand why they're doing this. I hope Cody does that thing where he hops on the middle rope and knees the other guy in the face. Cody wins and keeps the title.

WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Miz vs. Alberto Del Rio in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match: I'm kind of expecting some sort of bullshit finish, but it's a ladder match, so they'd have to really struggle to pull that off. I think I'd congratulate them for it if they managed to screw this up. I like all three guys, but Punk's the man right now, so he'll probably retain.
