It has been great to actually have Luke and Mandy with me this Christmas. I kind of want to dig up Alice and kick her a couple of times. I had no idea how good Luke was at art, and I'm still discovering all these things about my own kids that I should have had a chance to know before now.
I'm glad they really like Brooke and it's been on the weird side to be all together like a family only we all care about each other. Sometimes I wish I could go back in time and stop myself before I met Alice but then Luke and Mandy wouldn't be here. I just have to make up for the time she cost us all now.
Playing Santa for the christmas party was fun. I was a little irked that Danny set me up for it, but everyone was so excited and Brooke playing Mrs Claus made it a lot of fun. I have kind of gone nuts this year on the presents but it's been a rough year for us all and we deserve it. Plus I donated money and goods to the foster kids at the party. It made me think, maybe when the movies done and I've got my family back in shape and all, maybe we should try and take on one of the foster kids. I'll have to talk to Brooke about it and Luke and Mandy.
For now I have us set up to take several trips, because of the way the industry goes they are flexible for when we go, but one to see Brooke's parents is first, then there's a trip to Rome and one to New York. Those and all the presents for the kids and Danny and Starr and Dylans family and Angel and crew. It's a good thing we have a really big house or we'd have no place to put them!
