I really love thunderstorms, except when I have to drive in them, but I suppose even after that they aren't too bad.
This weekend was kind of a drag - I found out on Friday that I had an overdraft on my checking account which left my balance at -171.00 or so, and my cell phone bill had 105.00 in extra charges.. from texting. So needless to say I wasn't really in the best mood Friday night, and didn't really do anything all weekend. Saturday I took care of my overdraft, and I still have about 100 dollars left in my bank account, so that's good. And I get paid at the end of this week, so I'll be able to handle my usual expenses with no problem.
The good things that happened this weekend are I started a pretty interesting painting and my mom offered to contribute 120.00 to my Lollapalooza ticket as a birthday gift, which means I only have to cover 70 dollars of it, then pay for bus fare and set aside money for food. It's going to be a lot easier to manage with that chunk of money coming from my mom- in fact she basically just cut the cost of my trip in half. I mean I already have a place to stay and I was planning on using Megabus to get down to Chicago, which shouldn't be too expensive.
Now I just need to focus on getting another job for the rest of summer, and making sure I set up my trip before everything starts to sell out. Hope everyone is doing well.. and I'll probably update again after next weekend, which should be a lot better.
