The Goalie Cult.
I would never wish for a fellow goalie to be injured. I might be a cruel bastard, but I do care for all of those who strap on the pads. Whether I like them as a person or player... or ... if I despise them as a person or player. We all throw ourselves in front of the rubber game in and game out (and totally have our own goalie cult) all for the love of the best game on earth.
I hate it for Roloson. I do. I hope he has a speedy recovery. Er... Conks - you ready man?
Anyway. I think I might have to root for Rod Brind'Amour and his 'Canes. Not that I wouldn't just LOVE for my previous team to totally kick ass and win the fucking Stanley Cup [/facetious]... but... let's just say I'm a sore loser.
Saw through the grape vine that the Greenville Grrrowl folded. It was a really nice place to play. The E really is a good league. I feel for all of the fans down there in Greenville. I hope they get another franchise (whether it's SPHL or ECHL). Lots of good people down there. Lots of bad business going on down there. The team went bankrupt, mostly because of the Bi-Lo Center and Centerplate. Bad, bad business.
