Something is missing.

I could update and say that I have nothing to say (which would be a big fat lie) or I could boast in my new status. But, neither seems really all that enticing. I could talk about a goaltender down in Greenville named Cam Ellsworth. Nice guy. We hit it off rather well when I was down there for my conditioning stint. I gave him a lot of tips; especially about not cheating his angles. He has had 2 straight shutouts. (I know, right?) I could talk about how Conks and Juicy are probably plotting my murder. I could talk about the news. The new Bin Laden tape, and what-not. So, as you can see, I could talk about a lot of stuff. . .

But, the one thing that comes to mind is that I'm lonely. Not that the guys here in Edmonton (well, I'm not in Edmonton right now, but whatever) aren't friendly, but living out of a suitcase does take it's toll. I pretty much just go to practice, go to the gym, and go to games. And not that I don't love what I'm doing, but I feel like I'm missing something.

Playing Phoenix tonight. Wayne Gretzky will be right there.

Oh. My. God.

Almost as bad phenomenal as my first NHL start playing against Colorado. In Colorado. In the same arena that Sir Roy played in. In the same crease (at least for one period) that Sir Roy played in.

So, here's hoping I don't act like a complete nerd and ask for his autograph, or some crazy shit like that.
