Wow, am I unimpressed with the mods in RPGnet. I was reading a post about how Christians can't play D&D. Yeah. But it was going along in a largely unflamey way, except for a minor controversy about a nickname for Jehovah's Witnesses. One mod warning earlier, but okay.
The mod comes along and declares that discussion over. Which would be fine, except it's "because I can't tell your posts from flaming", which is unfair on the guy. Guy takes exception to that bit in the post...which is against the rules. You have to take any complaints to a different forum area. Later, a mod closes the thread, again for understandable reasons. But he declares "I'm closing this thread for being terrible".
WTF, people? I understand that the rules on RPGNet are strict, and that's fine. What I have a problem with is the fact that while we all have to play relatively nice, the mods have a FREE LICENCE TO BE JUDGEMENTAL ASSHOLES in the line of duty.
I am seriously thinking about posting my opinions to RPGnet and then quitting.
