Must to find breakfast. Feeling the need for a treat this morning. Not sure where to go. Default is Ihop but that just feels like cheating but they have yummy whole grain & nut pancakes

OMG breakfasts!! I could give you a list of many yummy places to go... Sunny side up. Uptown diner. pannekoeken house(sp). Sweet Loraines... Turtle bakery, erte, the times, even Dave's BBQ has a buffet (omlets made to order)... etc.
I guess it would be safe to say, breakfast is kinda my favorite meal. Hope you had a good one.
Yes, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, too. In fact, my day doesn't start until I've had breakfast regardless of what time I get up.
I've not found anywhere here that I'm really a big fan of. I've been to Sunny Side Up and Sweet Lorainnes. Sunny Side Up was okay. Not so much with Sweet Lorraines. I like Famous Dave's brunch but it's a bit pricey. I need to branch out and try some other breakfast places.
Today, I ended up at Curran's which is my other default (generally when I don't feel like driving that far). And, I ended up spending about $14 with tip at which point, I realized I probably should've just gone to Famous Dave's.
BREAKFAST! Dude, why did you never tell me? I've been exploring breakfasts in the Cities with my uncle since college.
Hit up the Bad Waitress some time. I took Hypatia there, so you can get her opinion. The Band Box, just south of Downtown and just off of Chicago, is a classic diner with good food and attitude. At the 48th and Chicago cluster is the Chicago Deli (closest I've found to my house) which is very decent. Soba's (about a block north of the Sunnyside on Lyndale) is a little different but still tasty. There's also the Egg & I, just south of the Sunnyside (they've another location at 280 and University - it's ingridsummers favorite), and I've found them dependably delicious
