Meh...
Today begins a long 2-weeks of work-related travel. Leaving both weeks at 7:10 on Monday (which means I'm up at 0 dark thirty) and not getting back to my destination city (Mpls this week, KC next week) 'til after 5:30 or 6 on Friday. Then most of two weeks of vacation. I will not let them tell me that I >have< to be in for year-end. I may choose to be in for a couple of days.
Figured out how to convert DVDs to play on my iPod. I have The Pretender season 1, episodes 1-3 on my iPod now. Quality appears to be okay. Takes forever to convert given the computing power I'm working with. I also bought an adapter that will let me play the videos on a TV. I'm pretty sure that I didn't rip the DVDs at a high enough quality for that to look good. Much with the experimentation.
Must to head to the airport. And again, much with the "Meh...".
