oh yes I does, oh yes I does. ;)
seriously I REALLY like the crockpot.
it's summer, and I don't feel like standing over a hot stove.
(yes I checked, no fever)
and there's this dusty cylinder sitting on the counter...
bbq beef, chicken soup, steak and rice, pot roast...
good meals I'm not busting my chops over (mmmm chops. those were good too)
pot roast was soooo hard (not).
peel and chop potatoes and carrots and onion and celery.
put the roast on top, add 1 cup beef broth.
set to 'low' for 6-10 hrs.
viola! a holiday dinner. on a week day.
and did I mention the meat? take the toughest, cheapest meat and cook it in it's own juices for 6+ hrs. it falls apart. haven't needed a knife yet.
if I wasn't still full I'd be hungry again.
