In a Rush! haha
Hey all! well rush week is officially over. basically it was a party for ZBT every night. i went to a strip club and to play broom ball on tuesday night. wednesday night i went to club Zita in LA and partied w/ the boys. on thursday i didnt go out w/ them but i got a job w/ Vector selling Cutco knives, which i never thought i would ever do. on friday i went out to eat w/ the guys to a place called Duke's in Malibu. that place was absolutely awesome. it was right on the rocks of the beach- so whenever a big swell would hit the rocks it would splash up really high like 15 feet away from the window in the dining room where we were eating. it was aweseom- food was awesome, company was awesome....whole night was awesome--and it was a sober night. so that should say a lot.
the guys in the house are really cool guys. there's no bias or seperation between classes. so seniors hang out w/ freshman and juniors w/ sophomores and every combination in between. its a lot of fun hangin out w/ a group of older guys that just met you that week and already know your name. its awesome.
on saturday i watched the trojans kick Virginia Tech's ass w/ my boys at ZBT! then at the end of the game they started handing out bids. they would take 2 or 3 guys upstairs and ask you if you wanted in the frat in a very cool way. i dont know how much im supposed to say so im not gunna say much....i got a bid and i accepted so i am now a pledge in the Psi class of ZBT.
pledging is cool but it is definitely a bitch. i had a BBQ at the beach on Sunday w/ my closest of friends. i cued up some carne asada, made some guacamole ( my style- avocado, lemon, lime) w/ the help of Meli's dirty hands...and Lili's too! it was cool ...we ate and i rode a few waves in the 10 mins i was in the water. the horrible part was having to leave so early. i had to leave the beach by 4 to be back at the frat house by 6. thats wat i meant by pledgin being a bitch. i had originally planned for the BBQ to last into the night and end up w/ a bonfire and maybe some night surfing cuz august 29th was a full moon. but it didnt work out so i went to drop off all my beach stuff at my grandpas and head over to the house only to get my ass kicked by having to run all over hell and back in 75 mins to get a bunch of stuff on a list that was posted to the door. then when we got back, being drenched in sweat, we had to sit through a meeting and then clean the whole house.
when that was over i showered, microwaved some burritos, and headed over to the house for a little party. i knew i had class so i was wary about partying. i hung out for a bit, played my first game of beer pong....and WON!!! and then i called it a night and headed back to catch some ZZZZzzzz's. so thats been it.
ill update w/ all the rest of the new info in my life a little later...cuz im in the library right now and its 1220 AM on tuesday and i have a 930 class...so goodnight all....
URGENT UPDATE NEEDS ATTENTION!!!!!
i know i said i have a class but this is very important for me to note. at the BBQ was the first time i had seen Meli in FOREVER! she looked absolutely gorgeous in her light orange little top and khaki skirt. it felt soo good just to hold her tight in my arms- she even washed her face on my sleeve-- its all good though cuz i got to have her scent on my the whole ride home. hehe....so yea it was fun seeing her and sharing a coke w/ her. im glad she had fun and the most exciting part of my entry is about to come up....are you ready? ...huh? i cant hear you! ARE YOU READY!!!!???
haha...well here it is: tomorrow i am taking my Meli out to dinner and we are gunna have a fabulous time. I'm really excited to see her tomorrow so im gunna get to sleep so it comes faster! night all -...pe@Ce - Mike
