the M16 is a good friend to have
I guess not a whole lot is new around here, I taught Army Reservists how to shoot better yesterday. It was pretty cool i guess.. its sad when you look at how little training some of the troops get in marksmanship. I mean.. yes they are reserves.. and yes most of them were engineers but still.. they are soldiers.. i dunno it was good to work with them. They brought all the civilians MRE's for lunch. My dad's never had one of the newer ones with the heater, so i showed him how to work it.. its a pretty cool concept. I wouldn't to eat them 3 meals a day for 6 months.. but its pretty good food. But yeah.. I'm getting much better at high power shooting so its really great.
on a much more exciting note: Katie Ghelfi is in town!! yeah so its pretty nice to see her again considering its been like a year... but yeah.. We all hung out at Maggie Murphy's the other day.. playin bags and catch and stuff.. it was nice to get out of the house and actually do something.. it seems like a lot of people are really busy this summer.. or not busy at all.. i dunno not for everyone though..
