yesterday was so crazy, it was Gina's 17th birthday so she threw a party at the Willowbrook Ballroom.. it was really really awesome!! we all met at Homer JHS, where.. like none of us went to school and we had cake in the parking lot.. it was "ghetto" as Gina put it, the cake was on a cooler, and we tried to light the candles with a cigarette lighter.. didn't work, but maggie had matches.. so we all drove there and it was so cool, the instructors wern't that great compared to the people last time.. Rylie cannot be beaten as best instructor.. but yeah.. it was good, we switched partners like 40 times and it was so crazy, all the ladies said i had a good frame and form and all that, so i was happy, i really felt like i knew what i was doing, so when we actually danced Gina actually knew what i was leading, from what i heard were really good on the floor, Mrs. Zak was telling my mom that when they were at the parade, it was super fun.. and like.. most of the people that went with us didn't really have it all down yet so it was funny to see everyone try to figure it out.. but i think almost everyone had a great time, and it sounded like a lot of people wanted to return in the future.. it was a really good party i think lol it was great because we all traded partners like 20 times just us friends, Nikki Zak got asked to dance by the old black guy in the red shirt and suspenders.. hes like the swing dance guru=totally amazing she said it was really cool, then like these other guys kept hitting on her and they were really bad dancers haha.. so we made the band announce it was Gina's birthday, it was funny because i said i was going to and she was like "no don't!" and all that.. so we ended up dancing a lot, we learned a few more moves and hopefully we'll learn a lot more.
After we got done dancing we drove back to Homer JHS to open presents and stuff, I gave her this pretty big box, and she opened it and there was packing peanuts.. and another wrapped box.. and so on and so on.. there ended up being 5 individually wrapped boxes within each other haha it was so funny (It probably took about an hour to wrap), I gave her a sterling silver claddagh ring with an ardagh chalice band.. she really liked it and i was really happy about that. It fit her perfectly.. Liz managed to find out her size very sneakily.. I think that everythings good now.. like.. everything.. I'm really really glad about everything.. so it was a great night
