Yeah, yeah yeah, whatever... so it's been over a year since i updated. Guess I just didn't really need to vent at all..
Ok, so now I do... I'm sick of Panama City. Not professionally of course, i love my job... but I'm sick of the town itself. Such a small town, it's impossible to find anyone i'm interested in here.
My goal, and we'll see how close I get to actually actieving this... is to be out in Southern California within a year. I already found the perfect job for me:

Thing is, it SCREAMS flash, and I don't have THAT much experience with it... but I do have a legitimate copy of it here, and am going to kick into overdrive to learn it from top to bottom.
Other issue, I have so much on my plate that I haven't had the time to do anything extraordinarily well... But all that changes on Monday. They're bringing someone new in who's going to be taking over pretty much everything i handle right now except my afternoon shift on WFSY. I'll be more or less free to concentrate on the websites.
So that's the plan... I make our websites KILLER over the next 6 months or so, and the next time there's a similar opening at CCLA, it's MINE. Actually, that will work out perfect- I'm stuck in a lease in my current apartment until the end of December, and it's something like $1,500 to break the lease early... though if I OOH and AAH them enough, they could pay for it... OK, i'll come back down to earth.
